Who we are

anphe is a social and video platform operated by DU GIAN PRIVATE ENTERPRISE ("we", "us", or "our"), based in Vietnam. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use anphe through our website, progressive web app, or related services (collectively, the "Service").

For company and contact details, see our company information page.

Information we collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and password (stored in hashed form). If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from Google according to your Google account settings.

Profile and content: You may provide a display name, bio, profile photo, cover image, writing mode preferences, posts, photos, videos, comments, and other content you choose to publish on the Service.

Social and safety data: We process information about follows, blocks, reports you submit, and moderation actions taken on your account or content.

Technical data: We automatically collect information needed to operate the Service, such as device and browser type, IP address, authentication tokens, and usage logs. If analytics are enabled, we may use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to provide and improve the Service; authenticate users; display and distribute content you publish; enable social features; enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines; investigate reports and protect users; communicate with you about your account; and comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

Public content: Information you choose to make public on your profile or in posts, videos, and comments may be visible to other users and, depending on your settings, to people who do not have an account.

Service providers: We use trusted providers to help operate the Service, including cloud hosting and media storage (such as Azure Blob Storage), authentication (Google Sign-In), and optional analytics (Google Analytics). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to applicable law.

Cookies and authentication

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, maintain session security, and remember preferences. Authentication tokens may be stored in httpOnly cookies to reduce the risk of unauthorized access from client-side scripts.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the Service.

Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce our policies, and comply with legal obligations.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymize data associated with your account. Some public content may be removed or retained only in anonymized form where necessary to preserve service integrity, safety records, or legal compliance. See our account deletion and data deletion guides for more information.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at dan@dugian.com and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the revised policy.
